WHAT’S WORKING NOW

Brian Sipotz Fitness Festival Call (May 12, 2021 MM Call)

WORDS OF WISDOM FROM WILL MATTHIESSEN

There is a lot of money coming in on the phone calls coming in, so it is very important to track!  Create a strategy around them because there is a lot of revenue around those phone calls.

LESSON:  Be very quick to try something.  Be very quick to evaluate how something works for you.

BOOK:   Winning (Tim Grover):  To think for yourself and create processes where you go out and learn, seek information and ideas.  But at the end of the day, you must be able to make your own decisions and try stuff.

Creativity is you learning something and adapting it to fit to what works best for you.

LESSON:  EFFICIENCY…Doing Multiple Things at Once

Your most valuable asset is your time…learn to maximize what you are doing and how you are spending your time.

As yourself:  How can I maximize the efficiency of my time?

  • At team meetings, Vince will be doing talks with his team every Monday.  These talks will then turn into assets that can be used in supporting the Mastermind.
  • When you are training sessions, you can and should be doing marketing research.  Talk to your clients about what is going on in their lives, struggles, etc.  These conversations will be about you are learning about your target market.
  • Can you hire two people at once?  You are training two people at one time, which creates efficiency in your onboarding process.
  • Video content is pillar content.  It can be used on various different avenues…one video can become an email, podcast, FB post, IG post, etc.
  • Taking a client out to lunch.  You are going to learn, get advice, socialize, build relationships, etc.
  • Charity Events:  Great use of efficiency.  They involve your clients, strength relationships with your clients, lets you service the community, lets you and your staff be proud that you are giving back to the community, used as assets to create content, etc.
  • Community Interviews:
  • Every kid that signs up for GRIT, give an offer to the parents.
  • Write your first book.  Take all your emails and compile them into a book.
  • Create your own networking where you create something in your community, you start and sponsor and invite your community into it.

LESSON:  HIRING

Everyone is in the same boat with hiring.  Change your focus from a hiring mode to a recruitment mode.  Think of the different ways you can brainstorm ways to recruit people.

LESSON:  SOCIAL PROOF

Client success it the biggest driver of word of mouth

LESSON:  RUSSESLL BRUNSON

Russell Brunson – founder of Click Funnels.   Russell did a podcast that spoke about how he bombed on a webinar.

Showing your clients that you are vulnerable with your own fitness.  Even the highest performers have bad days…everyone struggles.  Sometimes your biggest enemy is you beating yourself up.

QUESTIONS

NORA CRYAN: How do you recruit trainers from other gyms?

NICK BUTLER:  Had 3 interviews yesterday, a variety of candidates and it all went well.  I presented one person with a dollar amount offer, and this person came back with a counteroffer.  How do I handle this?

DAVID HILL: 2 best questions to ask someone on a testimonial?

SEAN HARDING:  Trying to pass on when leads come in to the front of the house.  I’m looking to figure out the best practice for consults?
